Movement Alliance Project exists to help build a coordinated, cross-sector, multiracial, working class movement in Philadelphia that can transform our city and state to one that prioritizes people’s needs over capital. We do this by providing operational & physical infrastructure and opportunities to learn and connect that make it possible for movement formations in Philadelphia to make strategic assessments, strengthen relationships, and build capacities that bolster their power building work.

COLLECTIVE STRUCTURES
Through fiscal sponsorship and shared office space we’re working to collectivize structural capacity to support a network of established and emerging organizations in the Philadelphia region and beyond to win.
The People’s HQ
People’s HQ is our shared office, co-working and meeting space for people and organization’s fighting for social, racial and economic justice in Philadelphia and beyond. We have closed door office space and co-working memberships available. Email us to find out more.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
MAP’s Sponsored Projects program allows leaders to spend more time organizing in their communities and less time doing admin work at their computer. We provide back office services and 501(c)(3) status to a variety of local and national groups working towards social justice.
Movement Collaborations
Movement Alliance Project creates opportunities for leaders from organizations across the Philly region to build relationships, shared political analysis, skills and our collective resilience. We provide administrative, facilitation and fundraising support to learning cohorts and coalitions.
Alliance for a Just Philadelphia
The Alliance for a Just Philadelphia is a broad coalition of grassroots organizations working together to win governing power for our communities, change the political landscape, and build a more just Philadelphia.
